Are you
selecting trainers for the 2008 Ft. Worth Mustang
Makeover?
If so,
please give me just three minutes of your time to tell
you why you should select Dan Keen as one of your
trainers and why he will be such as asset to you.
The truth
is, you probably can’t go wrong choosing any experienced
and competent trainer. But given the potential and value
of your program, I believe you deserve more than
competent or good.
First, you
simply won’t find a better trainer for the horse. I’ve
researched, watched or written about virtually all of
the nationally recognized names including Ray Hunt,
Craig Cameron, Pat Parelli and John Lyons. I also spent
a winter watching Betina Drummond work horses (a
disciple of the classical master Nuno Oliveira) and a
summer studying the training methods of a former master
trainer of the Spanish Riding School.
My point is
I’ve seen the best of both English and Western trainers
and my qualified opinion is that Dan is one of the best
all-around horse trainers one can get. There are many
horse owners who can afford to put their youngsters or
problem horses in training with anyone, anywhere and
Dan’s name often comes out on top of the list. He has a
reputation for all of his horses leaving his barn
confident, responsive and rider oriented.
However,
great horse training isn’t the only reason to choose Dan
Keen.
Dan has the
extra quality of being as good with people as he is with
the horses and that’s an unusual combination. Dan is
extremely personable, charismatic and highly
entertaining whether in a crowd or one on one.
There is NO
doubt that Dan will be a great competitor for the other
trainers.
But Dan is
someone who can provide added value to your
program. I guarantee that he will be a huge crowd
pleaser and a natural asset for publicity throughout
your adoption program.
I’m sure you
have many trainers to choose from but I strongly urge
you to choose Dan Keen as one of them.
I know you
will be glad you did. If you have any questions, please
feel free to call me and I will be happy to talk to you
in detail.
Sincerely,
Marianne Swim
PS On a
personal note, when I got a valuable and rare Fell pony
from England, I had all kinds of requirements and
expectations for his start as a youngster. While it’s
true that Dan lives near me, location was NOT much of a
consideration when I chose a trainer. Safe, quality
facilities; quality of care and training philosophy and
techniques were FAR more important. I would have driven
a great distance to put my pony in the best hands I
could find. Dan fulfilled every personal expectation I
had. Without qualification, Dan Keen should be selected
as one of your trainers.
